AM I REQUIRED TO BE A USA MEMBER?
Each swimmer, coach and volunteer is required to have current membership in USA Swimming. Annual memberships are for the calendar year, but for new members, you can sign up as early as September. Seasonal memberships are only for the summer and will not cover your swimmer if they go to a zone or national meet.
THIS IS MY FIRST TIME APPLYING FOR A MEMBERSHIP
If you are not a current member, WSC swimmers will need to have an seasonal membership which will cover you for the summer only and then in September will need to renew with an annual membership.
I ALREADY HAVE A MEMBERSHIP THROUGH A DIFFERENT CLUB
**If you have a membership that is current, but are switching to WSC from another club, you will need to fill out a Transfer Application and can swim with us, but will enter meets as “unattached” for 120 days since your last competition.

WHAT ABOUT “TRIAL” SWIMMERS? DO THEY NEED A MEMBERSHIP TOO?
In order to streamline our bookkeeping, we collect all club and USA fees at the beginning of the season. If you have requested the 2 week trial option and decide not to continue into the 3rd week, your fees will be returned to you less the trial fee. Please note however, a decision will need to be finalized prior to the 3rd week in order to receive a refund.
